Abstract

  • East Java Farmer Exchange Rates (NTP) in December 2019 rose 0.48 percent from 108.97 to 109.49. The increase in FTT is due to the price index received by farmers (IT) which has increased higher than the increase in price index paid by farmers (Ib).
  • In December 2019, three agricultural sub-sectors experienced an increase in FTT, while the rest experienced a decline. The sub-sector that experienced the largest increase in FTT occurred in the Horticulture sub-sector by 1.32 percent from 102.68 to 104.04, followed by the Plantation Plantation sub-sector by 1.31 percent from 95.15 to 96.39, and the Plant sub-sector Food by 0.25 percent from 115.70 to 115.99. While the sub-sector that experienced a decline in FTT was the Fisheries sub-sector by 0.22 percent from 114.67 to 114.42, and the Livestock sub-sector by 0.09 percent from 111.90 to 111.80.
  • Of the five provinces in Java that did NTP calculations in December 2019, four provinces experienced an increase in NTP while one province experienced a decline. The largest increase in FTT occurred in Banten Province by 0.54 percent, followed by East Java Province by 0.48 percent, West Java Province by 0.11 percent, and Central Java Province by 0.01 percent. While the NTP of the Special Province of Yogyakarta decreased by 0.09 percent.
